I mean... many of us may be tired of Depp's "Colorful Weirdo" bullshit onscreen but I have zero idea of what did or didn't happen between him and his ex-wife. All I know is his weird public behavior started once they hooked up and yet at the same time he has had a reputation of being one of the kindest celebrities with how he deals with his fans. Dude above and beyond what most would do and these reports within the last few months about his spending, behavior, etc. reek of hit-piece.

 

None of my business and again... nobody truly knows. So I'm not a fan of those on Social Media proclaiming the man as a wife-beater.

The interesting thing about that tweet the Rock responded to, is Scott Mantz has appeared on Collider.  Collider has a Movie Trivia show and they've been trying to get the Rock to appear.  This might be an opening salvo to get him on there

Funny thing Mantz was being overly generous with his $30m domestic over the 4-day weekend  bit.  It will do around $25m over 5 days...

I'd like to see Johnny Depp go back to taking chances with challenging roles and quirky indies like he did before Pirates of the Caribbean broke out. If he did, I feel like he could get back in touch with what made him such a fascinating actor in the first place.

 

Or even just some challenging mainstream-ish fare like Black Mass. He was fantastic there.

I wouldn't call it a meltdown but the tweets are embarrassing and he's definitely acting delusional. Especially because he keeps responding. He's better off just not responding to any of the tweets talking about how the film is performing amongst critics/at the box office.

I've seen hm thank people for enjoying the movie.  Mention something about his 17 month old daughter singing Let It Go.  A mention that he played against Clemson's football coach.  Nothing close to a meltdown
