worldwide it will easily beat Apocalypse. Domestically it shouldn't be as frontloaded as that movie.

62M is a bit lower than what I was expecting following the 23M Friday. Kong almost managed 61M with a lower previews and true Friday and no holiday weekend Sunday. Probably 75-78M for the 4 day now. Probably a 160-165M finish.

 

Good start WW, final total can be anywhere from 650-850M depending on legs now, next weekend will tell us more.

The numbers for Pirates are alright, I guess. They look better if you don't compare it to the previous movies (to put things into perspective, it's gonna sell less tickets over the 4 day opening than Dead Man's Chest did in its first day in 2006. How the mighty have fallen).

Yeah, I agree w/that. I said Apocalypse numbers referring only to OW, but it'll have better legs for sure. Maybe Kong legs, assuming it co-exists w/Wonder Woman like Logan and Kong did?
