Just 25m in Germany?

That would be below 2m admissions. I can see it miss out on 3m, but below 2m seems way too harsh to me. Something like $35m sounds more reasonable to me (2.5-2.75m admissions). Same with France, I really don't see how it makes just half of what Rogue One made.

I don't know there literally is no hype at all. I just feel like no one will watch that movie, but on the other hand it's still SW in Germany and France so people might watch it (Same for Japan btw.)

Why did Disney even decide to release this movie a few months after The Last Jedi? They should have just released it in December as usual.

cause they expected great buzz for TLJ to lift Solo up, because May is a traditional SW slot that they want to get back for some reason, and because Mary Poppins (that's gonna smoke Solo boxoffice-wise) is a perfect December movie.

Also to test waters in case they want to do two Star Wars films a year. A May Memorial Release and a December Release. Though I doubt we'll get two a year until at least all the Avatar sequels are done.

I want this to make less than GOTG movies. Most likely GOTG Vol 2 but under GOTG would be a real coup. Better movies deserve to do better and GOTG movies are WAY better.
