If it gets between 70-80M OS OW, it's definitely a possibility.

You only be looking around 60m OS WE probably not much between Solo & DP2, DP2 could be #1 WE.. See when estimates come out

I don't know but it looks like OW will be below $5M in France around $5.5M in China (MN/OW is the same).

It starts to look like 50-60M is the target.

Despite writing that, I hoped it would gross more:hahaha::whosad:

Underestimated China's Opening a lot, will open with probably $9.85M

Meaning it will open above every other country same as RO and TFA.

And the total will probably be also the fourth biggest (maybe higher) only smaller than Uk, Japan and Germany

Solo's performance is staggering. It seems to be performing far below even the lowest numbers people predicted for it. Possibly scraping $200m overseas and $200 domestic is truly terrible for Star Wars. Is below $400m worldwide possible? This has gotta be the biggest box office flop I've ever seen for such a popular franchise.

Below 400 is definitely possible if Japan underperforms as well.

Dom - 80 3 day * 2.625 - 210

OS - 60 * 2.5 - 150

Japan - 20-30

Total - 380-390

Just quick calculations so I could be wayy off. But JW2 is gonna cut whatever legs its gonna have OS in less than 2 weeks time.

How is deadline estimating a $230M 4-day WW opening when the overseas numbers are this bad?

I always thought SW and MCU are the biggest brand in the cinematic world, it seems now we have to reevaluate their drawing power.

And, is spin off a necessity ?

60m is a hopeless figure...especially when JW2 is coming out in many countries next week

In Argentina and Bolivia it fell behind IW 4th weekend and is practically a tie in Uruguay. In Chile it also lost Saturday to IW. In all these countries it ranges from a third to a half of D2 second weekend...

Now is almost sure IW will beat Coco record in Chile... :whosad:

The MCU definitely is the biggest brand in the world. As if it wasn't clear before, Infinity War cemented that fact big time. Star Wars on the other hand...
