Looks like Gals come of the fence regarding Isreali politics.

Its going to make her a lot of enemies back home but should please many liberals abroad.

I sure hope Ben “The Cool Kid’s Philosopher” Shapiro goes off on her about this, and accuses her of being a traitor...

Wonder Woman 1984 is Not a Sequel to Wonder Woman

Quote

Producer Charles Roven explained that the movie is about the same character with the same creative team and follows the events of the first movie, but fans should not expect it to work as a sequel to the first movie. Instead, Vulturereports, Wonder Woman 1984 is what he called "the next iteration of Wonder Woman."

"It’s a completely different time frame and you’ll get a sense of what Diana-slash-Wonder Woman had been doing in the intervening years," said Roven. "But it’s a completely different story that we’re telling. Even though it’ll have a lot of the same emotional things, a lot of humor, a lot of brave action. Tugs at the heartstrings as well.”

Patty Jenkins has not said anything since Roven made those comments, but it sounds like her movie fits that description perfectly. According to reports, the movie -- which has already been shot -- is a "stand-alone film" similar to Bond movies. Because it is not a continuous story for the character, it isn't technically a sequel.

I am not sure I like the idea of that. People were invested in the characters in the first movie and I think there is genuine interest in seeing the arc of that story play out. It’s confusing to have the same characters and not acknowledging their past.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was going "WTF" after that. This is clearly a continuation of WB's trend of distancing themselves from what they were doing before. Now they're going out of their way to be "different".

I mean, you can call it a sequel guys. People are still going to show up in droves to see it! If it actually isn't a sequel then...well....okay. Just don't try to be different for the sake of being different because you screwed up your movies before. The answer isn't hard. Just make good movies that people will love.
