With E3 canceled, it's hard to see how WW84 would still open in June. And if WW84 moves, then so could the July releases as well. Already no tentpoles in April, and now we could have no tentpoles being released in May, June, even July. An awful situation for exhibitors all over the world.

Uncertainty is this, fear leading to chaos.  I would not expect drastic shut downs domestically for more than 60 days. But that leads up to its release, which makes it a danger zone to lose money if go ahead.

New release date announcement imminent.

I don't think so. There is lot of time to think.

Release date announcement looks easily but is actually very chaotic.

They should wait at least till April to decide. Don't get carried away.

Wonder Woman will make lots of money whenever it releases.

But, I am also 90% certain it is not touching 400m+ Domestic.

Increase in overseas market is all but guaranteed.

My prediction :

Domestic : 330m

Overseas : 540m

They only have 3 spots for the rest of the year where they can place it so they are going to have to choose one of those three spots (GvK release date being the most unlikely one because its so close to No Time to Die). They almost certainly aren't moving it to next year.

Christmas release will be the best.

Dune is going to bomb anyway.

Yeah, that would imo be the best bet WB would have at having both a big Oscar contender (Tenet) and two big boxoffice hits (WW1984 and Tenet). Dune can be their big 2021 Oscar contender either way.

Dune is BR2049.It's gonna gloriously bomb.

Budget should be under 150m for it to have chances at breakeven.

The official WW84 account just posted this:

Pretty (too) optimistic engaging in any marketing now. No guarantee the situation will be normalized to a sufficient degree by early June...

As long as they don't begin the final marketing push, which would likely have been in late April, they have time to move.

My guess is it takes Dune's date to become the big Holiday movie.
