That's just one weekend before Multiverse Of Madness, which is shaping up to be a semi-Avengers film like Civil War (and with the possible involvement of Raimi, maybe more?). The Batman is better served swapping places with Suicide Squad. Or doing a Nolan and releasing in late July, with SS coming out in early June.

Black Adam is gonna be released (so far) on the same day as Avatar 2, the same with Aquaman and Star Wars. Can't see WB bothered with Doctor Strange, maybe because it's another CBM.

But a July-September date seems possible for me.

Did you bother reading the comment I responded to?@Spidey Freak is the one who suggested the Batman movie move to July.

They delayed production on Spidey 3. It's going to get delayed. Only reason it hasn't yet is Sony is in charge of the date change, not Marvel.

The situation is changing so rapidly it's hard to know what's going to happen, if any cinemas will be in open in 2020 at all.

The Imperial model that everyone is using predicts another big outbreak in winter, so unless they go all out to eradicate the virus in one go, ie keep the lockdowns going all summer, I can't see any movies happening until summer 2021.

In any case, WB is unlikely to move The Batman to July before Sony moves that Spider-Man movie. Anyway, I think it’s a lot more likely that The Batman gets moved to October.

The Batman is the most hyped film of the next 2 years. Why the fuck would they open it in October ? They will open it wherever the fuck they want and competition will move.

There’s nothing wrong with October. Joker has proven that movies can do unbelievably well in that date.

Anyway, we probably shouldn’t get too far off-topic. This is still the WW84 thread.

Joker numbers would be dogshit for THE BATMAN.

Not sure if you were around for the Pikachu predictions before it came out. Basically, anything under 200M OW was seen as trollishly low
