Pay per view on SKY TV.

There is deal to show it on SKY Cinema in January. Hopefully, they pull it forward like they did in Canada.

@Avatree Not confirmed that's exactly what it will be but yeah, one month window until home release in January is what was reported, no day and date. I'd imagine they absolutely have to convince the chains of just say fuck it and bring it forward to Xmas day.

I can't see it being a Pay Per View exclusive to Sky. It'll be either exclusive and free for Sky Cinema subscribers OR they do PVOD on all platforms.

Not that there was ever any doubt, but WB truly is being run by blind monkeys at the moment.

How so?

The film is scheduled for release on Wednesday.

They have sent the film to all cinemas that have scheduled showings.

Why would they just cancel it now?

Won't be surprised if they did that in USA and European markets, but in Asia there are independent local tracking system, so we will get Asian numbers at least.

Intl should be fine , it'll be Domestic that may not see anything released, but we'll see come Xmas day.

Scheduled to open into a severely crippled marketplace where the majority of cinemas are shuttered due to Tier 3 restrictions.

I agree it’s too late to outright cancel the UK release given it’s been on sale since last week and likely would be a logistical headache to refund tickets in Tier 2 areas, but with such a large part of the country now unable to see it, it would make sense to put it in PVOD too. London, the South East and the majority of the North being closed means it’s going to make peanuts theatrically.
