Yeah that's odd, but weirdly it's not surprising to me. It's almost like movies are just losing priority, even if the job as a film critic doesn't really get affected by Covid (ie. they can just write up their reviews at home).

Just got back from watching the film and first off it was great to be back in the cinema with over 100 people no social distancing or masks, the experience itself was awesome and way better than Tenet which was during an outbreak here so social distancing and masks made it less of a communal experience. 
 

Movie was good but flawed. The opening sequence was awesome and the score for that scene was great. 
 

Didn’t read any reviews so was shocked by the Indiana Jones influence throughout the film.

 

Action was stylised so hit and miss, the third act action wise was pretty shit again.

 

Pedro Pascal stole the show and Hammed it up brilliantly. 
 

Overall was worth the watch and I look forward to seeing more films in the theatre next year.

Part of it could be that some publications only review theatrical releases.

well. I just saw it. and this was choice.. 

RT is still very high. should be -1 for rating as in 5~6 range.

bad script, forgettable and boring action sequences.

critic reviews and audience reviews are bad overall in Korea.

I loved it, the Chris Pine fish out of water scenes were the best part. Very funny and sweet. I didn't care that there wasn't much in the way of action scenes, the ones that were there were interesting and tense enough. The slow mo during the action sequences worked a lot better for me than the first one.  But like I said, the highlight of the movie was the chemistry between Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. If the whole movie was just them dicking around in the 80s, it would've been fine by me.

 

The other highlight was the use of Welcome to the Pleasuredome, a song I hadn't heard in years, but I recognised immediately. The album version is nearly 14 (!) minutes long and an absolute masterpiece of 80s synth pop.

1. SRK-YRF film which is said to be setting Spy Universe, wil also feature Salman.

Yeah, a cameo and Krrish 4 isn't going to cut it.     His installment in the spy verse - War 2 is probably 2-3 years away.  He was reportedly doing the Night Manager remake for Disney Hotstar and another film before Krrish (which supposedly doesn't start to film until the end of 2021  if ever) but officially nothing has been announced . I know this is Hrithik and I should be used to his not announcing anything until it's ready to shoot but damn ...
