I am a bit curious how to you judge that (what would have been small), for example now that the timeframe is more than twice of what you thought, does that put them from huge to good, mediocre, bad ?

Both movies didn’t come out till December 25th though.

They released on 25th so 3 Days.

Anyways I won't be having debate on Nielsen numbers because they doesn't seem too reliable to me.

Technically if they are really tracking the number of minutes, no one watches credits IMO, which forms a large chunk of film from 5-10%. So are they just counting the views or multiplying with run time. What does view means? Full film, half film, 25%?

Now coming to the raw numbers;

We know that HBO Max has 17M subs at end of Dec (iirc).  Wasn't there official release saying half of HBO Max watched WW84? So that 14M if we considering everyone watched the credits is BS. Without credits views will be ~16M, almost all HBO Max subs.

PS. These Nielsen numbers are from just TV viewers and excludes everything else like Laptops, Mobiles, etc

WB finally pulling the trigger on PVOD in countries that never got it theatrically due to closed cinemas. Italy first up:

Wonder if with, for instance, GVK we get this in the UK and so forth as it's looking like May for reopenings here and elsewhere in Europe. Judas and Little Things and the like they'll probably just keep delaying until reopenings but the big piracy risks like this they need as close to a global release...In this case it took *two months* to pull the trigger so maybe that's the same sort of buffer they'll consider for the others. Eg. GVK - if UK cinemas don't reopen until end of May, only then they skip and go straight to PVOD.

In my country, most of the area never got the chance to see it on big screen....

Yeh I don’t think we’ll get GVK here in the UK. WBUK didn’t bother releasing Little Things tomorrow as originally suggested. No date for Tom & Jerry yet. Universal haven’t released a single film during this lockdown, not on streaming or cinemas (Freaky, Come Play, Croods 2, Promising Young Woman, Let Him Go) nothing!

Yeah, Little Things and Judas are now undated. Tom and Jerry still down for March 19 though! And Croods is on the 26th I believe.

Let Him Go is gonna be on VOD in late March/early April, they're sticking with the full 16 week window on this one (it came out same day as WW84)...ironically, the one film that is out in a decently timely manner? Is the one they sold to Netflix OS - News of the World.

A third week at #1 in the UK film chart following its release on disc last week.

Biggest sales week for any film of the year so far, 72,000 copies in its third week.

The WW (2017) and WW84 double pack is #2.

plus 19 days at iTunes #1 as a £15.99 rental and an additional 15 days at iTunes #1 as a £4.99 rental.
