THE INCREDIBLES II | 634.2 M overseas ● 1242.8 M worldwide

Recommended Posts

It's definitely possible, but it absolutely needs to reach 600M dom to do that, as so far the movie has been performing just 10/15% better than Dory, giving it a projection of 600M OS or so.

I wouldn't join, though, as I think JW2 will develop some nice late legs and reach 1.25B.

Current markets look to be finishing with 300-310M. According to Deadline, it has opened in 51% of its footprint. So, it is headed for around 600M OS.

DOM looks to be headed for 560-580M.

1.15-1.20B is the range right now.

Expect a big OD in France, inflated by « Fete du Cinema » where all tickets are at 4€ (instead of 10-12€ average)

UGC Les Halles - 9am

Biggest debut ever for animated movie

I talk about the theater « UGC Les Halles » in Paris because :

How does Pixar‘s boxoffice history look like in France?

First Incredibles made 5.69M adm in France.

Ratatoutile and FN are way more successful, among biggest animated movies there

I watched it tonight, it was the opening day and honestly it was really worth it to wait 14 years: the animation evolved in such an amazing way, the movie is really funny, having Father/Mother inverting roles was interesting to see as well. The characters aren't just back: they also strongly evolved in the process.

People loved it and laughed. It's now in the TT on Twitter and all that.

I expect fantastic numbers, I didn't see so many people in the theater in a long time!

I said in my comment I didn't see so many people in a very long time in a theater here, now I understand why.

Last weekend its total stood at $79M USD across Latin America per Screen Daily. With Holiday season ahead in many countries it should continue to leg very well.

With the current exchange rates $79m is definitely a great number.
