Russia OW is 65% better than FD. Argentina 10% less, but only because of the worst ER ever. Almost flat in Australia.

And mexico is up 28%.

Do you think it can do $600M+ OS with just a normal Pixar gross in China? If it can do that, very high chance of this film grossing $1.2B+ WW, maybe even surpass Frozen.

It's world cup atm so that might inpacts some days. But I think it a lot of the countries it will do better then FD, so I fully expect I2 to get $600m + os with only a $40m China gross.

Deadline: In Australia, the cartoon superheroes scored Pixar’s biggest opening weekend ever and were on par with Dory. This is also Pixar’s best opening in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.

In Latin America, which is closely following the Group Stage soccer, Incredibles 2 is the No. 1 film in all markets and tops for Pixar in Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Central America, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Paraguay. It opened 35% ahead of Dory in Mexico and 14% above the forgetful fish in Argentina.

Really curious how it will do in Brazil. Just like in Mexico (where it opened huge), Brazil loves animation and superheroes. This is a combination of both. Any predictions @Fullbuster?

It's hard to predict with the World Cup and political instability but let's say it would normally have a huge potential, enough to make it the biggest animated movie of all time in Brazil (currently being Despicable Me 3).

It is reported by Deadline that TI2 opened in 26% of the OS marketplace this weekend. $52M OW in 26% equates to ~200M OW if all markets were opening. 3x multiplier is perfectly doable from there.

China is the wild card right now. But even without China, I would guess that IW2 would do 600M or come very close.

Animation have some markets where it does 6 multi or more.

410K admission for Incredibles 2 in Perú, second best of the year just behind Infinity War and best ever for Pixar.

Dory Multiplier would get it to 1,8M admissions, surpassing Coco record.

China is delivering a normal gross for a Pixar film. Not a breakout like Coco but still good.

That's why it is not good. The SH thing added very little, and reception is just "good", while it needed help from both.

It is good, no one said it was going to be huge or big in China. Olive said before the release don't expect Big Hero 6 numbers for this movie. The predictions 24 hours before Midnights were 24m Yuan (already up from the Wednesday predictions because I2 had a good increase in PS on Thurday) had an increase in Fri PS of 115%. Most respected Chinese BO predictors on this BOT said that we shouldn't get hopes up.

So the 30.65m OD isn't bad at all, it's best Pixar OD ever (not that hard), it won't have the legs that Coco did, nor those of ZooTopia. But we didn't expect it to have them. Still looking like 62m Sat and 56m Sunday maybe a bit more.  So doing an OW of around $23m isn't bad at all. Legs around 2x give it $46m TOT.
