2015 was not that long ago, Boy Next Door did very well ( I imagine very few know about that Lila & Eve the Davis & Lopez movie exist, not sure it got released at all).

I forgot The Boy Next Door even existed lol.

They might change their mind down the road. I remember Zero Dark Thirty was going to be a wide Christmas release until a few weeks before when it was changed to a limited mid-December/wide mid-January launch.

I won't be surprised if Ben is Back becomes a wide release for December 7. Movie's not gonna be an awards player beyond (a big maybe) the Golden Globes.
