After some thought, I think I’m going to slowly phase out of doing more blockbuster-y films, or at least prioritize them a bit less. I kinda want Hourglass Pictures to turn into the A24 of CAYOM.

I’ll still make bigger films, but I’m putting more and more of my effort into “smaller” films and I’m pretty excited about that.

I'm having similar thoughts. While I do have some bigger films currently planned for Year 5, I do want to focus more on the smaller-scale stuff.

Sort of related but I was thinking of the counterparts of real life Studios with CAYOM studios and here’s what I’ve got:

Disney: Cookie Pictures (cause if able Cookie could easily dominate)

Warner Bros: Hourglass Pictures

Fox: Numerator Pictures (has a lot of strong well done blockbuster, tending to aim at an older audience)/Lager Pictures

Universal: Endless Entertainment (live action is solid but the animation division is definitely it’s strongest asset.)

Paramount: O$corp Pictures

Sony/Columbia/TriStar/Screen Gems: TriCresent Media

Dreamworks: Blankments Productions/Alpha Pictures

Lionsgate: Aesir Pictures/Energized Entertainment/ChD Pictures

Summit: Hunt Productions

STX: Hot Shot Productions

In terms of arthouse films:

Focus Features: Hourglass Pictures

Fox Searchlight: Numerator Pictures

Sony Pictures Classics: Alpha Pictures/Lager Pictures
