Maybe WIR2 isn't for us. It's actually just a middle finger to all the other studios. They just want to wave their metaphorical dick around and show how many IP's they have under their belt compared to everyone else.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but it sounds like WiR is being retooled to become Disney's Lego Movie franchise in a way, what with all the studio owned IP's appearing and all the meta references.

All the (living) princess VA's minus Idina and Ming-Na with Silverman. Apparently they appeared on the stage for the WiR2 panel

(L-R) Paige O'Hara ("Beauty and the Beast"), Irene Bedard ("Pocahontas"), Mandy Moore ("Rapunzel"), Auli'i Cravalho ("Moana"), Sarah Silverman ("Wreck-It Ralph 2"), Kristen Bell ("Frozen"), Kelly Macdonald ("Brave"), Anika Noni Rose ("The Princess and the Frog"), Linda Larkin ("Aladdin"), and Jodi Benson ("The Little Mermaid").

I don't care if it was obnoxious or not (and I wouldn't really call self-awareness obnoxiousness), reading the princess stuff from Ralph 2 made me laugh out loud. Interested to see footage.

Incredibles 2 putting Elastigirl on the forefront is awesome, as was the suburban original plot.

Planes 3 or whatever can blow shitdicks. And Toy Story 4 still doesn't interest me in the slightest.

So WIR 2 seems to be ignoring its video game roots and forcing in Disney Princesses, Star Wars stuff and possible Marvel stuff ? I guess that solves the mystery why it got a green light for a sequel over Big Hero Six. :sadben:. Poor Ralph, likely to be overshadowed in his own movie.

So, people on another board were mentioning Gigantic was not mentioned yesterday...at all...

Anyone know, did the project get dumped?

It got postponed to 2020 (it was supposed to come out next year, but w/the schedule changes, Ralph 2 got the 2018 release), so probably next year.

It's over three years away now so they probably decided to hold off. Pixar only promoted one of their presumed two earlier 2020 releases

A Wrinkle in Time is getting a public trailer today but most of the goods will be strictly for attendees until whenever Disney decides to release them later

Or until a good friend of the internet blesses us and leaks the shit for those of us at home.
