You mean that for 1,5 seconds of nudity, people weren't able to see Robbie had something great going for her in the acting department already in Wolf of Wall Street ?

Nudity, being hot, it is normal, it is okay ... for now ...

As far a being taken seriously as an actress, I think "I,Tonya" was Robbie's breakthrough film, just like "Suicide Squad" was her breakthrough film as far as audience poularity goes. She got a good start with "Wolf Of Wall Street" but it's the two films I mention that put her In the A list.

To me Wolf is her breakthrough, she was a complete unknown and became famous overnight after that movie. ofc she played her cards right and most of the stuff she did after boosted her career even further, but WOWS is what put her on the map.

WOWS put her on the map but it was SS that made her A List, and I Tonya that got her her BEst Actress Oscar nomination. Depends on how you define breakthrough. BUt yeah, not denying that WOTW launched her career. I admit, I had never heard of her before WOWS.

She was fairly popular in Australia because of her leading role on a very popular TV series there, but outside of Oz she had a failed AMerican TV series ("Pan Am') and couple of movies that went nowhere.

And she is another talent discovered by Martin Scorsese, who had a really good nose for uncovering talent.
