Fan of Chalamet but he's not getting nominated for playing Laurie in Little Women. I wouldn't rule out John Lithgow as Roger Ailes if Bombshell ends up gaining some Oscar traction.

And Leo performances I like better than this one? I’d say Wolf, Departed, Titanic, Gilbert Grape, Shutter Island, Catch Me If You Can and... The Great Gatsby, honestly such an underrated performance.

Actually scratch Chalamet. I think Tom Hanks is getting in for Its a Beautiful Day. They will make up for that Won't You Be Neighbor snub (for that terrible RBG documentary) by nominating Hanks this year.

I thought he was bad in Gatsby. Only time I've not liked him in something*. I know people have umbrage with his Irish accent in Gangs of New York, but I thought he was pretty good there too.

*I've not seen J. Edgar though.

Underrated movie really. I watched this movie on TV knowing nothing about the book and I loved it.

Leo's performance in Shutter Island is definitely an underrated/underappreciated one. Would've made my Best Actor ballot for that year.

I remember wanting to find out how Great Gatsby's box office run was gonna go is what led me to discover BOT in the first place, so I suppose I can't be too against it

I did read the book after watching the movie but I still love the movie the same way I love The Lake House and 13 Going 30 (absolutely amazing guilty pleasures).

Glorifying Gatsby's parties was such a weird take from Luhrmann. Kind of went against what Fitzgerald was trying to say

Not a challenging role, but Pitt made it look so easy. He's winning the Oscar, no question about it

The Great Gatsby was a beautiful mess of a movie but yeah, Leo's really good in it (despite his constant utterance of "old sport" begging to be a drinking game). And it more or less introduced us to Elizabeth Debicki, so there's that.

Leo really kicked it up a notch for me when he got less serious and started taking the piss out of himself. Wolf is the performance of his career but he's doing messier, more down-to-earth stuff here and crushing it.

Leo is the definition of trying too hard. His best role is in Django
