Onward hasn't had a troubled production like The Good Dinosaur, so I think its it's safe. Plus, it's in a better position of making a profit by opening during Spring break. 

 

Granted, Soul will be the stronger film, but Onward will perform well too.

Looks like they're confident it'll play like Zootopia. IE Strong reviews, Strong WOM, Opening during spring break.

Same, and I'm prepared. Pixar is always good at bringing out the earned emotions, and this movie will be no different.

I think that this movie will greatly benefit from being the first major animated family film of the year.

While I think Sonic might get some family thunder, it's clear that this will be the 1st huge family movie of the year and will benefit from the fact that we haven't had a major family event since Jumanji, or a major animated event since Frozen. A 60+ OW and 200+ DOM turnaround is where I see it land. (Yeah, I know, I gave up on my own 100M+ OW club a long time ago )
