Maybe there's some interpretation in that dictionary where it can be used as an adjective but 99% of the time its used as an adverb and more to the point, its used as an adverb in the title of this film. so it should be 

"Disney's ADVERB"

 

I know i say some dumb shit sometimes but I'm right here and anyone with a grasp of English would agree. That may be the problem actually - you are all american.

Collins is a British dictionary: https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/onward. Pay special attention to the note at the top - in typical British usage, "onward" is the adjectival form, as an adverb "onwards" is used instead. In other words, as a Brit this really ought to be even more obvious to you than it would be to an American.

if the June release is Pete Docter’s next, I will definitely bet on that winning it. But I am finding it hard to believe Pixar is opening a movie in an year without us having details about the movie. Most probably there is no Pixar movie in June.

Pete Docter's Pixar film

The WDAS film

Scooby (Spider-Verse showed that outside-IP films can win if they truly hit it out of the part)

Rumble (Paramount's film about monsters that wrestle--you never know)

the Lord/Miller film about the family and the robots

Vivo

Ron's Gone Wrong

(Plus any foreign/independent film that comes out of nowhere.)

 

So 2020 is certainly a more exciting year than, say, 2017.

2020 is probably the most exciting since 2016 to be honest for animation, besides I can see box office really booming for it unlike these past few years. 

 

Onward, Docter’s film and potentially the WDAS film can cross the $300M mark with a lot of potential breakouts.
