An ongoing endless thread where you can discuss weekday/weekend numbers. Only on-topic posts will be allowed. GIF only posts will be deleted: your GIF must be relevant and must be accompanied by text. This is purely for numbers discussion. No spoiler may happen at any time for any movie. All movie discussion must be about the numbers only.

You can still use the normal weekday/weekend threads for discussing numbers and reacting to box office runs. If you make a chart or table feel free to post them in both threads.

Baby Driver will need a Sony fudge job to reach 100M. And it has to be one of the good ones, and not a shitty one like what happened with Sausage Party.

If it lands at around $98M by the time it's run is concluding, there's no way they won't Passengers it past the mark.

Should just give it a Labor Day expansion to make sure. I doubt Cars 3 is gonna get one, and the only other one that would make sense is Wonder Woman.

Megan Leavey took a harder hit than expected with Per Location Average.  I expect it to go over 100M when actuals come out and to make some strong double-bill numbers when Logan Lucky is released.

I selfishly want Wonder Woman to reach 410+ million and get that 4x multiplier!

And go over CW and IM3. That would be insane. CBMs dom list will read:

I like the way that sounds! Someone needs to make an image proclaiming Batman, Iron Man and Wonder Woman as the new trinity!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they the only solo heroes to gross 400+ domestically?

Edit: I forgot about Spider-Man lol

Yeah, solos dom ranking could be

  1. Nolan's Batman (TDK/TDKR)
  2. IM (IM3)
  3. Wondy (WONDR)
  4. Raimi's SM (SM1)

Wondy could upset IM

Baby Driver will be close to $90m by the end of the month. It'll be Passengers'd for sure.

It is following this is the end (101.45m domestic) closely:

But did loose is advanced pace over it, does look like it will need some of that help to reach it yes.
