Posted October 25, 2019 Share Posted October 25, 2019 @CayomMagazine In a press release, New Journey Pictures stated they are considering pushing A Hop, Skip, and a Jump, the studio's first original animated film that imagines the dramatic aftermath of the race between the tortoise and the hare, to Y8 for a myriad of reasons. "This decision is far from being completely set in stone," fictional CEO Glenn Guthrie clarified. "This is a consideration because NJP runs the risk of releasing two films based on children's stories in the same year. It's also a consideration because we're thinking of positioning Banjo-Kazooie as the big NJP Animation film of Y7. "The Ryan Potter starring film is something we're itching to make no matter what, whether we release it in Y7 or Y8. Our final decision will be based on when we can dedicate the time to do it right. Dana: Tripped Out will arrive in theaters Easter Y8 joining Toons V Reality and Seaside for Endless Animation’s Y8 lineup. The sequel takes place a few months after the original as our heroes, bounty hunters, and an oversized head has their happy ending. All except for Squirrel Girl’s somewhat reluctant, sarcastic yet lonely best friend Dana (Taissa Farmiga) who now has highly powerful telekinetic superpowers and doesn’t want to be a heroine despite help from her bestie, the lovable kooky Squirrel Girl (Academy Award winner Anna Kendrick). Unfortunately the problems become only the tip of the iceberg when a recent excursion cause Dana to lose herself and deal with a deadly new villainess known as Hive Queen (Vera Farmiga) who wants Dana as she plans to use her as a pawn to mind control everything. Desperate for a cure as well as avoiding other heroes forced to bring Dana in, Squirrel Girl, Dana, squirrel sidekicks Tippy Toe (Samantha Ireland) and Monkey Joe (Lil Rel Howery), and vigilantes/street artists Bullseye (David Tennant) and Illouise (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) must travel throughout attempt to find a way to help Dana control her powers. In addition to the aforementioned Neil Patrick Harris, Grey Griffin, and Berleezy, the original cast is slated to return minus the late Stan Lee as well as adding Stephanie Beatriz and Nick Kroll to the cast. The film is reported to be a mind bending musical, with songs by Jon Lajoie (The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part), Lolita Ritmanis (Batman: The Brave and The Bold “Mayhem Of The Music Meister”) and Jesse Novak (BoJack Horseman “Don’t Stop Dancing”). Daron Nefcy is also returning to write and direct the sequel, as Rebecca Sugar returns to help produce. The sequel is said to tackle anxiety and depression like Super Mario Bros tackled immigration and Can You Imagine tackled adulthood issues. Directed by Chelsea Stardust, the film follows a young girl who finds a way to become her best self, slowly losing a grip on reality and her own soul. cookie Posted October 31, 2019 Share Posted October 31, 2019 (edited) @CayomMagazine Cayom Magazine is today providing an update on Cookie Pictures’s upcoming tentpole film SkyRiders, Part I (name may not be final), courtesy of press notes from the studio: Starting off, on top of this preceding week’s announcement that Thomas Newman would compose the score and working with Spectre collaborator Sam Smith on the film’s official song, the studio confirmed that Life of Pi and Spark: A Hero’s Promise cinematographer Claudio Miranda would be the director of photography on the film. Since the film’s transition from animation to live-action, on top of story changes, what parts would be recast or not has been left up in the air a bit. Today the studio has released a completed cast list, accompanied with an updated synopsis. Spoiler Set in a theocratic republic far up in the clouds, Skye, assigned female at birth but identifies as a boy, runs away from his abusive foster home and aspires to become a SkyRider, a band of fighter pilots protecting the republic from foreign invaders including ginormous whale monsters dubbed "leviathans". Receiving help from his childhood friend Kiara, a stage performer with burn scars on half of her face, Skye embarks on a journey of personal discovery, overnight fame, romance, drama and having to hide the truth of his identity while simultaneously discovering that his identity may be more complicated than he first assumed. Spoiler Bex Taylor-Klaus as Skye, a rookie SkyRider searching for his true identity, currently identifies as a boy Cailee Spaeny as Kiara, a plucky stage performer with burn scars covering half her face, Skye's childhood friend * Ryan Gosling as Mark Stravinski, a handsome SkyRider captain who becomes Skye's mentor, struggles with his own sense of masculinity and loyalty to the republic Deborah Ann Woll as Lynda Stravinski, Mark's pregnant wife who's very hospitable to Skye and Kiara Naomi Scott as Jo, Kiara's fellow stage actor and friend, somewhat dimwitted Riley Keough as Elena, Kiara's manager who holds a resentment towards Skye, has connections underground Jake T. Austin as Ted, a SkyRider sophomore under Mark's supervision with similar doubts as he has Elizabeth McGovern as Andrea, Skye's abusive and controlling stepmother whom he runs away from with Marton Csokas as Commander Hanaghan, the authoritarian leader of the entire republic's military, bordering on fascist and Jodie Foster as The Chancellor, the all-powerful figurehead of the Sky Republic, able to manipulate anyone to her own benefit * Pixie Davis portrays a young Kiara. Spoiler Following the atrocious box office returns of Rapsittie Street Kids: A Bunny's Tale, making a $389 PTA in 2,500+ theaters, Hourglass Pictures CEO Michelle Haywood was absolutely mortified. However, not more so than when she examined the final product. How did so many talented artists agree to this? It was an investigation at the studio that slowly began after Jonny, Jonny! (Yes Papa?) Making Movie? (No Papa!) Telling Lies? (No Papa!) Buy Tickets Now! (Ha! Ha! Ha!): THE MOVIE came out in Y4, after a few anonymous actors wanted nothing to do with the press tour. Michelle had made a shocking discovery. See, when she was born, Michelle unknowingly was the sister of a twin. Rochelle Haywood. And like many long lost twins, she was quite evil. So evil, in fact, that she was jealous of her sister's success. Haywood frequently invests in her local community and doesn't like living in big mansions with ultra luxurious features, so it went deeper than her finances. It was her powerful, progressive, and heartful eye in Hollywood. And it was something she desperately wanted to destroy. Using state of the art visual effects technology....it is revealed that these entire movies were deepfakes. None of the directors were credited (but were given sums of money for doing nothing) and all of the actors were simulated using computer technology onto various stock models. Haywood had directed the film and pulled the script that was apparently coherent until it accidentally got pushed through google translate 20,562 times. Rochelle tried to decimate her sister's reputation, but given the power of lawsuits from the actors who feel embarrassed for something they didn't do, as well as audiences themselves fighting this horror, Haywood took her sister down. However, she was shocked to find that David Henrie was her tortured slave, leading them to uncover that she had created a Gemini Man esque clone of Edward Nandy to help produce these films. After freeing Henrie and arresting her sister, the only thing left to do was deal with the clone of Edward Nandy. It was finally free to do whatever it wanted to. He now runs a dance studio in Topeka, KS. As for the atrocities made....Michelle Haywood and Edward Nandy vowed to never let these films get made ever again. Haywood also noted that the money used from this atrocity will instead help Nandy's Chuck Norris and Liam Neeson franchise.
