Debuting with showings of XJ9: Rebirth and Duck Hunt

We open on a dazzling white screen as we hear a fashionista designer.

Slick

We get close up of purple scales and flippers.

Fashionable

We get a few shots of Earl’s face but avoiding his signature white long mustache.

and Shaved

We then see Earl (Dave Bautista) in all of his glory, but with a small white mustache and goatee, instead of his long traditional white mustache. We then cut to a designer, talking with Earl about the mustache in chairs.

Plenty of Fish in the Sea: Am Interview with Earl

Designer (Grey Griffin): So, Earl. After the success of Can You Imagine?, you’ve made quite a name for yourself in Hollywood. So what’ve you been up to.

Earl: Well, I’ve been starring in big films such as A Woman In The Crowd, Olive The Other Reindeer, Lumberjanes, and even the new Mass Effect and sadly Johnny Johnny.

We then humorously see shots of Earl photoshopped in stills for the film, all of which in awkward moments.

Earl: Also have been traveling the world, doing some exercises, trying new food just living life.

We then see photoshopped images of Earl in China, London, and Africa. Earl trying ghost peppers and breathing fire. Earl attempting exercises without using his mustache.

Designer: So the new stache?

Earl: Got it for Should You Imagine?, but it did interfere with some of my work.

We then see a clip from the Milwaukee scene in Spark: A Hero’s Promise where Earl is the car, but his mustache is obvious edited out ala Superman in Justice League.

Designer: So any new news for the sequel.

Earl thinks to himself as we see a few shots

- An older Ethan (Jack Dylan Glazer), Tiana (Marsai Martin) and Earl on the run from monstrous imaginary friends

- Kyle (Ryan Reynolds) and Jennifer (Alison Brie) on a giant scantron test sheet dodging giant pencils.

- Smarmy (Jason Mantazokous) leading a jungle expedition for our heroes.

- Turquoise (Kate McKinnon), the main antagonist using a trident to destroy a ship.

Earl: Nah. (As he winks to the audience)

Should You Imagine?

6/30/Y7 in realD, Dolby Cinema and IMAX

On the heels of the New Year, Lager Pictures has formally announced three big news items regarding the state of the Sci-Fi/Thriller previously titled 2099. The first is that the project has been renamed to Samsara and is officially set for a release in November Y9. The other two news items regard the film's director:

It is reported that James Cameron has officially stepped down as the director of the film. A spokesperson for Cameron has stated that the Academy Award winning director will still be involved as a producer along with long time collaborator Jon Landau. According to the report, Cameron stepping down from the film was a mutual decision both the director and the studio, who both agreed the project was evolving into an entirely different thing than they were originally expecting. This decision was made nearly two months back and since then, Cameron and the studio have been secretly meeting with many multiple high-profile directors to find a suitable replacement. As of today, the studio has officially found their new director:

According to the report, Academy Award nominated director Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Dunkirk) has signed on to helm the project. Nolan will be reworking Cameron's original draft of the story, with Cameron still working as a consultant on the story. Emma Thomas, Nolan's wife and longtime collaborator, will produce the film.

While the story is still a work in progress, a few details have been revealed about it: as the film's previous title has suggested, the film will take place in the year 2099 (with the reports suggesting the film is set around the last few months of the year) and will chronicle the story of an android cop who is assigned to infiltrate a dangerous cult.

In regards to casting, Steven Yeun (AMC's The Walking DeadBurning) has been cast in the lead role. Henry Golding, Sofia Boutella, Daniel Henney, and Mads Mikkelsen have been casted in supporting roles as well.

Samsara is set for a November Y9 release date.

Fresh off his Oscar win for Plus One, Blankments Productions looks to stay in business with Adam Driver. This time, they're eyeing him handling a potential franchise-starter at Shining Star Animation, Dog Man, based on the bestselling children's books. He will play the role of Petey, a conniving cat who sees Dog Man as the world's greatest nuisance.

Potentially aiming for this Thanksgiving or Q1 Y8, the film will be a lower budget animated project, and Driver will be the only celebrity voice-actor in the film, with other roles being populated by veteran voice actors. The titular role, as in the books, will remain a silent character, getting into slapstick shenanigans caused by the evil Petey.

After an exposé article detailing practices of queerbaiting over at Dreamworks Animation, both Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery have been permanently barred from Cookie Pictures properties. Dos Santos will have his producer credit stripped from future Scavenger Wars films, and Montgomery is no longer involved with SkyRiders.

"I don't even care anymore. We're not letting them back regardless of what happens," Sebastian Peters bluntly said to reporters outside the studio gate, storming past them to go get some ice cream.
