Endless Animation and Marvel Entertainment have relaeased a new synopsis for The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and... Dana: Treble in Paradise preliminarily scheduled for March 22nd, Y8.

“Taking place about a year after the events of the first, our heroes, bounty hunters, and an oversized head has their happy ending. All except for Squirrel Girl’s somewhat reluctant, sarcastic yet lonely best friend Dana (Taissa Farmiga) who now has highly powerful telekinetic superpowers and doesn’t want to be a heroine despite help from her bestie, the lovable kooky Squirrel Girl (Academy Award winner Anna Kendrick) as the two’s friendship is seemingly struggling.

It soon turns out Dana’s powers are otherworldly as she, Squirrel Girl, Tippy Toe (Samantha Ireland), Monkey Joe (Lil Rel Howery), Bullseye (David Tennant) and Illouise (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) are transported to the utopia, The Great as Dana is offered a spot on to become a member of god like beings all with musical talent, led by Queen Vespi (Renee Elise Goldberg). However as secrets are unfolded and more trials come about, it seems like there’s going to be trouble in paradise.”

Neil Patrick Harris, Grey Griffin, Internet YouTuber Berleezy, Andrew Rannelis, Queen Sateen, Estelle, Scott Grimes, Ne-Yo, and more have joined the cast as Academy Award winner Daniel Henney will return as Speedball.

The film is still set to be a mind bending musical, with songs by Jon Lajoie (The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part), Lolita Ritmanis (Batman: The Brave and The Bold “Mayhem Of The Music Meister”) and Jesse Novak (BoJack Horseman “Don’t Stop Dancing”) with Mark Mothersbaugh (The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, Toons V Reality). Daron Nefcy is also returning to write and direct the sequel, as Rebecca Sugar returns to help produce. The sequel is said to tackle anxiety and depression like Super Mario Bros tackled immigration and Can You Imagine and the upcoming Should You Imagine tackled adulthood issues, as well as maturity.

Director Thurop Van Orman (The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, The Angry Birds Movie 2) and producer Tim Burton (Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas) sign onto to Endless Animation’s next project for Y8, joining the likes of Squirrel Girl 2 and Celestial 3000; Naughty

12 year old Xavier Bitton (Caleb McLaughlin) is pretty well mannered yet socially unremarkable. However, Xavier always had a plan for everything, whether it was his homework or his plan to go to Ivy League schools or his plan to wear down a date in five years in time for prom, must know tackle the responsibility of being a good big brother, when his parents give birth to a particularly troublesome baby girl. Overwhelmed and underprepared, Xavier hopes he can help kick his sister’s naughty streak.

However, things take a turn for the worst, when said sister gets abducted by the No Child Left Naughty group, who specializes in the reformation of troublesome children, despite the fact babies are too young to attend, taking the children to Naughty Island, described as “Guantanamo Bay meets Halloween Town” mixed with the most evil element of all; a prep school, where “the worst of the worst” are sent to be reformed and punished until they’re cured, led by a fairly psychotic headmaster (Kelsey Grammar).

Not wanting his sister to be traumatized, Xavier alongside his rather irresponsible babysitter (Beanie Feldstein) hitches a ride on one of Naughty Island’s Scolding Stork ships to rescue his baby sister. However, Xavier finds himself facing an assortment of monsters, a dastardly plot, rancid cafeteria food and worst of all... unruly and cool children. Xavier must learn to adapt as we all learn whether naughty or nice, kids will be kids.

Bleeding with dark comedy, tinged with horror and a heap of heart, Naughty will use Worldmeander animation once more but is animated where the characters can have such exaggerated faces and movements while maintaining a blocky like motion. An animated model of Xavier is shown when calm, he’s somewhat blocky in terms of movement but when excited or nervous, he becomes much more animated. Naughty will come our Summer Y8.

In a shocking change of course, Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones, the Fast and Furious franchise) will replace Kelly Marie Tran as Prazha in the upcoming Green Lantern Corps: Home as Emmanuel fits the role better. Tran will still be in 2 as a cameo and something major in return from Endless Entertainment due to this large change.
