Again, Universal 1931...

Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Wolf Man, etc...all in the same universe...

Then, Frankenstein had sequels, also set in the universe - Bride of Frankenstein, Son of Frankenstein, The Ghost of Frankenstein, House of Frankenstein...

Dracula had Dracula's Daughter, Son of Dracula, House of Dracula...

Invisible Man had Invisible Man Returns...

AND we got crossover sequels IN universe like Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man...

Yeah, you are right. That looks like the first uni

95% of the time R ratings do not hurt a film's box office. If anything, they help. Something like Wish Upon could have been much better if the R rating was in place because then they could actually show the deaths.

Does R-rating increase the potential of insane Thu previews compared to PG-13?

I saw That Insidious 2 that opened with 40M, had 1.5M in previews compared to the Conjuring 2 which also had a 40M OW but had 3.4M in Previews

Just seen it is R rated, which is a bit odd for a movie about a bunch of kids.

Going to limit its BO potential.

No.

It's the other way around.  If this wasn't R, it would limit its box office potential.  If you want pg-13, see the 1990 miniseries.  This needs to be R to get the full tone of the book.  Deadpool and American Sniper did just fine with R ratings....so did the Matrix films.

True, nonetheless it didn't stop a number of people using the R excuse to explain Logans less that exemplary performance.

??? Logan did better than the first 2 Wolverine movies and had a lower budget to boot. If anything it did better than expected.

People just put their expectations too high after Deadpool and they were always going to be disappointed & anyways Deadpool's Marketing Campaign was one of the best ever.
