Opening top in all of the following markets, the latest entry in the franchise arrived in South Korea on $2.8m and 64% market share, rising to $6.3m with previews. In the UAE it debuted on $950,000, and $1.9m across the Middle East.

Russia delivered $906,000, and Indonesia $778,000 rising to $1.7m after two days. Brazil produced $683,000 and $910,000 including previews, while Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Thailand generated $528,000, $450,000 and $434,000, respectively.

Out in 40% of the overseas footprint, it grossed $18.2M on Friday, led by Korea which added $3.7M for a $10M cume through yesterday. Korea is a key Cruise market and, per locally reported estimates, is closing in on $18M through today.

Friday openings included the UK where M:I6 was No. 3 behind Mamma Mia 2’s second week and Incredibles 2. The take there was $1.7M at 585 cinemas for $4.1M including previews.

There were No. 1s other markets including India ($1.9M/1,314 sites), Mexico with $1M for $1.8M including previews; the UAE — home to the movie’s HALO jump — with $2M through Friday, and $3.8M in the Middle East region.

In South East Asia, the No. 1s continue with Taiwan ($2.4M including previews); Thailand ($1.1M); Hong Kong ($1.1M); Malaysia ($1M); the Philippines ($978K); and Singapore ($733K).

Elsewhere, Russia has cumed $1.7M and Brazil $1.5M.

Mission Impossible 6 - Fallout showed a huge jump on day two as collections went up by around 35-40% which is excellent for a film which opened well and on top is an action film. The film is looking set to emerge a HIT and could even be a big hit depending on what happens on the weekdays. 

 

 

The film collected 12.75 crore nett on Saturday to take its two day total to 22 crore nett and the weekend will cross 35 crore nett for sure though growth maybe limited on Sunday which is the case for most Hollywood releases. The collections for MI6 - Fallout till date are as follows.

MI6 is the second biggest opener in Pakistan behind AIW. Pakistan seems to be another forte of Tom Cruise last year The Mummy inspite of diasastrous WoM had a very leggy run. It had released in pre eid season.

Mission Impossible wraps day one with superb numbers. Film has done exceedingly well as film takes one of the biggest openings of 2018. Numbers from Punjab were excellent as dubbed version in circuits has done phenomenal business. Few centers in circuits recorded day one better than even Sanju.

Film raked in 1.6cr approx on day one making it second biggest opening of 2018 for English films behind Avengers Infinity Wars. Film’s numbers are even better than Jurassic World which had Eid release. Film did have competition from Teefa In Trouble in plexes but yet film saw solid numbers.

overall muted (20%-) increases over MI5 despite great reviews. Thought this could pull a Skyfall.

It’s doing great. Rogue Nation was a brilliant film with great WoM, so the increase was never gonna be ridiculous. Skyfall would have made less than 250m in the summer, it had the holiday boost and award buzz behind it.

Mission Impossible Fallout  has registered excellent first Weekend as film has emerged a good success. Film has registered big numbers on all three days as Weekend is among all time biggest Weekends of English films after Furious series, Infinity Wars and Jurassic World.

Film has raked in little over 4.8cr approx in first Weekend as Weekend is 8th biggest of 2018 for all releases. Talking of English films Weekend is 3rd biggest of 2018. Film has seen good trending over the Weekend with dub version in circuits performing exceedingly well.

Mission Impossible Fallout holds well on Tuesday as some multiplexes saw growth compared to Monday. Film is showing good signs of trending on Weekdays as film is now looking to emerge on of the biggest all time grosser English film in Pakistan.

Film raked in another 80lacs approx on Tuesday which is similar to Monday. Films usually see a drop of atleast 10% on Tuesday but Mission Impossible has seen no fall. Film has collected around 6.43cr approx in 5 days and Week is now looking to go around 8cr approx. Film will fall just 4-5lacs short of Jurassic World in first Week.
