Martin Scorsese is no longer producing this version of the Joker as his dance card is full. However, Scorsese’s producer Emma Tillinger Koskoff is still aboard here with Richard Baratta as EP.

That a Cooper/Philips production like A Star is Born/War Dogs I think.

Scorsese may have bowed out of producing responsibilities, but his fingerprints are all over that trailer. It looks like Taxi Driver and King of Comedy thrown into a blender.

Thing about Scorsese is he is so respected you can bet that Cooper and Phillips would take any suggestions that Scorsese makes very serioualy.

The Trailer just screams Scorsese, and Although he did not want to be a full time producer on this..wanting to concentrate on "The Irishman" I have no doubt he found some time to sort of mentor Phillips on this film.

The use of the Charlie Chaplin song "Smile" in the credits is absolutely the way Scorsese uses songs in his movies.

Dare I say , this looks even better than Heath Ledger’s Joker. This looks really terrifying. The madness feels suffocating from the trailer alone. The trailer delivered big time for me.

As far as the YouTube video is concerned, that many likes is impressive for something that has less than 25 million views.

I really don't see the need for the movie but it does look good at least

Views will continue to grow more since its clinging onto top #10 trending around the globe.

This can be the Bohemian Rhapsody of CBM in Europe

If a movie is good, that is all it "needs" to justify it's existence.

More and more I think this going to be a really good movie, but that it is going to be very divisive among Comic Book fans because it is going to unlike any other CBM ever made. I really think Phillips and other people involved wanted to tell this one story and are not that concerned whether it fits in well in the existing DCU or not. And DC jumped at the chance because of the prestige of having Scorsese..even indirectly...involved in a film. Yes, I know Scorsese stepped back frm being a producer because of his involvement with "The Irishman" but his production company is still one of the companies making the film, and his right hand person in that company is one of the producers.

This will be huge. And if its a critical success. It will be massive. The obstacle to 1b worldwide is china as i think its probably not something they will like. If it even gets released there. Could be wrong though.

I just dont see it making 220 million more than the first Deadpool movie, where can it gain those 220 million? Just dont see it happening.

I don't see it releasing in China. I also expect it to be bigger domestically relative to international numbers

Yeah, i also see the potential for the first 100M OW in October for this. It really needs to built up that hype till fall though.

Logan was released in China and it was a brutal bloody violent movie.

Joker is way too famous to be ignored in China.
