The first Mortal Kombat movie was great and a fantastic combination of fun, action and ridiculousness. Watching that movie in the theaters at release was awesome. I suffer no besmirching of Mortal Kombat.

No OWs left to overhaul basically. 117.15M put it over Spider-Man, the next biggest OW is 146M which it won't reach. So they just went for that number and a second round of press when it comes in at 120M+ tomorrow.

i don't why they felt over-righteous. at least 120 would have made sense. 120 needed a hefty 51-52% Sunday drop too and no one would have considered that low-balling. they just went with a little over SMH it seems but that could be a coincidence.

I agree. If IT really dropped 55% I would be surprised. That's all I can say.
