Xillix
Since it's so much lower than everyone else's let me just explain my rationale on Mirror's Edge: The best opening for a video game movie EVER was $47.7 million. Adjusted for inflation it's $75 million, but that was Tomb Raider back when Tomb Raider mattered. The only other video game movie to cross $50 million opening weekend, even with inflation, was the first Pokémon movie - which, again, was almost two decades ago at the height of the franchise's popularity. The biggest opening for a live-action video game movie in the past decade, again, inflated, was Prince of Persia, which will all Disney's marketing power managed $34 million. That movie was based on a game franchise that had sold over 13 million copies. Mirror's Edge and its sequel have sold 3 million copies. No one in the general public knows what it is. Reviews are mixed (though admittedly better than average for a VG film). Both of Pierre Morel's post-Taken films have been huge flops. ScarJo has proven she can't open a big budget sci-fi action flick based on obscure source material on her own. Frankly, to me, Mirror's Edge has "bomb" written all over it. Of course y'all are being real generous with some of my films too so

Of course y'all are being real generous with some of my films too so One has to allow a certain leeway with these things because 95% of the movies made in CAYOM would never be made IRL to begin with. In CAYOM context, Mirror's Edge is the first real big action movie of the year and while Ghost in the Shell flopped IRL I think a ScarJo action movie can still do fairly well in the game.
