I get what he was trying to do but thought that execution was pedestrian and his acting was so annoying. It didn't work for me at all. It may not be objectively a bad movie but I think it's really bad.

Did you watch in Italian with subtitle ? It is not modern Hollywood acting for sure but it is nice that some dare to go in those zone from time to time.
