This trailer could've been muuuuuuuuuch better edited, but the premise is enough for a hit if the movie is good.

I have a theory on why the film's trailer is shoddily edited. It's because the film itself was made as a film, as opposed to a product in need of a strong trailer for people to take interest. That's why people are taking interest; they see the film honestly portrayed as what it is.

 

A great role for Charlize Theron.

And a great role for Mackenzie Davis, too.

 

I'll be rooting for this.

Sundance has already provided quite a few movies this year that should reach out to general audiences pretty easily (Search, Hereditary if critics aren't being hyperbolic, A Kid Like Jake), so hopefully Tully joins them

This is getting really good reviews out of Sundance. I think Reitman and Cody should make it a point to only collaborate with each other for now on, they tend to bring out the best in each other.

 

Theron is getting raves, of course.
