ADDAMS FAMILY | MGM | Oct 11 2019 | 20th Most Profitable Movie of 2019

Recommended Posts

Got another trip to the theatre planned with my nephew to see this. He's excited for it because he's getting all geared up for Halloween! Hoping kids and families love it and it's a small hit.

If I hear it's good I might make a trip to watch it before Halloween

...Ok I forgot this was a show. My first and last point of reference for Addams are the 90's movies.

Such a great great show. Witty writing and fantastic chemistry between all the actors.  Just great viewing all the way around.

And before the show, it was a series of cartoons for "The New Yorker" drawn by Charles Adams...hence the name.

Thursday and still no reviews for this. Not a good sign, specially for a Kids movie.

Is there REALY such a thing as a “kids movie”.

Projected to be in the 25 to 30 Million OW zone, beating Gemini Man but coming in behind "The Joker".

Decent opening, but won't be as big as the original movie.

@TwoMisfits How's the family's hype level for this? When are you guys seeing it?

We are looking to see this Sunday morning...I think:)...

We have a birthday to celebrate this weekend, so we're trying to schedule around birthday festivities and movies (and I'm still waiting to see if I'll get a combo offer on top of the TMobile deal, since presales aren't spectacular at my locals:)...

But I don't feel like cheap Tuesday, so it will be this weekend:)...

Yeah this wasn’t good. It was basically the 90s movies but all the bite and wit taken out in favor of a boring “be yourself” message with lame suburbia satire. Oscar Isaac was good tho
