Watching the Netflix Fyre Festival doc.  I really hate everything it represents

Years late but Catastrophe is real funny.

So also watched the Hulu Fyre Fest doc.  Both were really good.  Even though the Hulu one had an interview with Billy Mc Farland the founder, I might give the slight edge to the Netflix one.  It didn’t seem as jokey when it mentioned about the local workers not getting paid.

 

Though one thing both can lead you to the same conclusion, Ja Rule should see some jail time for this

There's a certain amount of schadenfreude in it, but it is a really interesting look at startup culture. It also made me feel really old and out of touch.

Somehow I thought Hobbes and Shaw and Fast 9 came out in 2020, with the first in Feb and the latter in April....apparently the former comes out this August.

Kinda funny that they won on a field goal in the Superdome after losing the Super Bowl there the same way 17 years ago.

 

Now let's see whether Brady has a ninth Super Bowl in him.

I'm multitasking by also re-watching Selma while the game's on, and seeing Lakeith Stanfield in a hat not unlike his the one he wore in Get Out totally threw me off.

Refs made sure they would be at the end of regulation...I haven't seen a worse non-call in a very long time, especially against a home team...

 

Almost makes you wonder if they had money on the game or if the NFL wanted to make sure the west coast made the super bowl for viewers...
