Charley Varrick is good as hell. Pretty close to an ideal crime movie. Funny, human, merciless. Up there with Orlando and Army of Shadows among the best older movies I saw for the first time in the past few months.

I've been blocking and muting more than ever in the last month. Big problem is I follow too many people and while I enjoy most of them, they love to get pissed and retweet/quote idiotic things I have no interest in seeing. My feed is always losing their minds over something and I simply don't have the proper stress management for all of it. 

I only use twitter for current news and sometimes as a search engine for information.   Sometimes I really hate it though like that past few days where seemingly every single blue check on the platform is gushing over/defending John McCain right now.

Fox Searchlight I know and seen plenty of films, Fox 2000 on the other hand ...

Nah. Fox 2000 focused on mid-budget and literary adaptations (Devil Wears Prada, Marley & Me, Love Simon, The Hate U Give), while Fox was more big-budget stuff.

No, it’s a separate division that’ll result in further loss of jobs and less films from Fox per year.  Films like The Hate U Give, Love Simon, Fault in Our Stars, Hidden Figures, etc. were Fox 2000

I feel like something had to give considering how much they just absorbed. They'll probably just use Fox to produce the same kinds of movies anyway. Plus, everybody knows Fox Searchlight = the main specialty division of Fox.

Fox 2000 was not producing a lot of movies tho, no ?

I watch credits of my movies  all the time and I haven't seen a Fox 2000 joint in a very long time ( I see  a lot of diferrent movies FYI ...).
