WB won’t be there, Universal and Paramount have skipped in recent years, Sony doesn’t have any fanboy friendly properties to promote right now and Fox no longer exists. Lionsgate went during the Twilight-Hunger Games-Divergent times but have skipped recently. The Hall H schedule has almost been filled out with only Saturday morning left to announce I think. Might be a low on Hollywood SDCC this time.
filmlover 39,744 Posted June 27 I wouldn't be surprised if studios just continue skipping SDCC for now on honestly.

That reminds me: what has happened to that Fonzo movie directed by Josh Trank? Movie's been completed for a while and still doesn't have a distributor. Would think someone would've been eager to snatch up the rights after Venom.

I would have said Trank's reputation would have hindered it, but it sounds like it's still in post production so they might not have screened it to potential distributers yet. Does this mean Tom Hardy would play a young Henry Winker?
