@CJohn Holy fuckballs in Christ Heaven, SIC motherfucking EXPLODED last night.

 

Nazaré premiered to 15.6% / 29.9%, the biggest result for a soap opera since the finale of Ouro Verde. The highest moment of the day? 16.9% / 32.3% at the very tailgate end of the show. Meaning people liked it. (I.... didn't. But clearly the GA did. Nazaré and Carolina Loureiro were both at the top of the Twitter trends and everything :rofl:)

 

And as if that wasn't enough, the Season 2 finale of Golpe de Sorte topped that by doing 15.9% / 32.3%, completely blowing away the soap's previous record (the premiere episode's 14%). Two decimals away from matching the finale of Amor Maior as the biggest result for a SIC soap since 2017.

 

Coupled with the Raminhos show taking advantage of Golpe de Sorte on Sundays to embarass MasterChef, Comedy On The Edge still being the hit of the Summer on Saturdays and the daytime returning to massive numbers (from Cristina on weekdays to even the À Descoberta show on Saturdays; this while the ugly Amor Maior repeat is still going on at 2PM and Married At First Sight is waiting to return), it's clear that we are in for total, utter domination from SIC.

 

If Na Corda Bamba doesn't work and both Mental Samurai and the Pedro Fernandes show are flops too, TVI can shut down doors, with or without the Cofina money being brought in.

I never had any doubts. She is way too appealing as a star. 

 

Golpe de Sorte is gonna make Na Corda Bamba and Masterchef sink next Sunday. Fully expecting under 20% share for the soap and under 15% share for Masterchef.
