Things went my way!  Orlando and Brooklyn avoided sweep by winning their games.  Toronto and Philadelphia will have to sweep now to match my prediction closest.

I wonder if Disney will have a Comic Con panel for their movies. Disney TV, sure, hope for some Owl House and Amphibia.

 

TLK opens a few days before the Con, and D23 is in late August, Galaxy's Edge will have opened in Land and opens in World in late fall, so more details would fit in D23.

 

There's really only one movie they could advertise.....

So, Belmonte flopped bad at 6PM. Avenida Brasil, which has been a modest at best performer and big disappointment after Gabriela, broke record after record from the moment Belmonte came in. In response, TVI is finally putting Belmonte at 2PM starting tomorrow. With no promotion. A week after it started at 6PM.

 

On one hand, it will likely take the lead easily because between it and Amor Maior - which had a very successful 1st few days, but then crashed like a rock, to no one's surprise - I imagine it will be the preferred alternative. On the other hand, with the treatment it has, it will probably only do the same kind of results that the Mexican nonsense (which is still on air, btw, and will have its final episodes airing at 3PM after Belmonte, similarly to Mar Salgado after Amor Maior on SIC) has been doing.

 

Meanwhile. A Tarde é Sua is once again a 3 hour show, and Raid The Cage goes back to 7PM. Which are actually good changes, because this past week has been disastrous for TVI..... dude, Inspetor Max was doing 11-13% share, for God's sake. But these changes won't matter even in the wake of Belmonte, because Júlia has had explosive results, Avenida Brasil has been breaking records and The Farmer hit nearly 30% on Friday, so....... they can try whatever they want, they just keep digging themselves a bigger hole

Honestly, they should just start Belmonte from the first episode again at 2 PM and pretend their didn't air those 5 episodes at 6 PM.
