Watched Contagion again for the first time in a while tonight with everything going on in the world. I still want to know what Taco Bell thought of the movie considering (probably don't need spoilers since it's an almost decade-old movie but I'll be generous given its newfound popularity)

I just did the same yesterday. Feelings summed up here: https://letterboxd.com/c_roll/film/contagion-2011/

Its interesting how certain films that where not a big deal on release can find fame after due to certain events. The film is now of the most watched movies on Itunes and noticed a lot of friends and family watching it.

I think after 9/11 the rather obscure thriller called the Siege became the most rented movie after.

Who would've guessed that Josh Gad would become Disney's most favorite person circa 2020? Frozen and its sequel (plus the shorts), Beauty and the Beast '17, Artemis Fowl, that Honey I Shrunk the Kids reboot shooting soon, producing (and potentially starring in) a live-action Hunchback of Notre Dame remake, now a Gaston/LeFou limited series (on the plus side, more Disney checks for Luke Evans)? Olaf's power is real after all.

Watched Parasite again. Realised that I really need to rewatch the pre-2010 Bong Joon Ho movies. Been at least 4 years since I last saw Memories of a Murder, The Host, and Mother. Never seen Barking Dogs Never Bite so I guess its time I watch that. I wonder if I like Parasite more than his older movies because of recency bias (it probably is).

I think Contagion was a really good movie that sort of got lost in the shuffle in 2011.

Rewatched my DVD of it yesterday evening;still a good movie.

Though it was weird as hell to turn on CNN after watching it and seeing Sanjay Guptha doing the same thing for real that he doing in the movie...

Kate Winslet dies after saying she ate there .

Spoiler

They don't nickname it "Taco Hell" for nothing. It's an insult to real Mexican food.

Probably old news by now but I caught up with the latest Simpsons episode about spoilers and all the inside details like a second weekend percentage drop.  It was pretty funny.  All based around Endgame

No matter how many times I watch it, The Terminator seems to get better each and every time. Aside from perhaps Aliens, Cameron never came close to capturing the same crazy energy, urgency and efficiency this one possesses.

It's a classic, but T2 is the best action movie ever.
