You mean "retrieve their primetime lead". They lost it completely since Golpe de Sorte started.

 

I think that Amar Depois de Amar will drop considerably today. It had zero moments of leadership in its okay'ishly promoted premiere. And Prisioneira will suffer from not airing after a premiere and before a finale, not to mention that it has lost to Alma e Coração as much, if not more times than it won against it. I might end up surprised, but right now, I don't see them getting the primetime back until September, but SIC is gonna revamp the entire primetime by then as well (both Golpe de Sorte and Alma e Coração will end in September).

@CJohn Like Me is getting cancelled this weekend and replaced with a reality show featuring past famous reality show figures (like a Desafio Final of sorts)   Shocked it didn't happen sooner. I feel like this has somehow lasted longer than Who Wants To Marry My Son.

 

Also, I found out for the 1st time today that some pop song that plays all the time in the radio was actually Rewrite The Stars from The Greatest Showman. I had only seen the This Is Me clip from the movie prior to this afternoon, but I unknowingly had heard another song from that movie many times before. A movie about PT Barnum having all these generic but catchy upbeat pop tunes feels off, but whatever. (This is completely unrelated to the paragraph above, btw. Just a thing I wanted to point out,)

I swear I hear this every day on Comercial. That and both the Lady Gaga songs from A Star is Born pass all the time.

 

I am surprised Like Me wasn't cancelled on that Tuesday when it pulled like 8% share at 7 PM. That new reality show won't do better tho. Maybe if they can convince Margarida Aranha to show up with his boyfriend they can pull 10% share. MAYBE.

Yeah, I hear Shallow in the radio all the time too (I have to put up with RFM, because my mom is obsessed with kizomba, but I do like Comercial a lot better between the two). But I genuinely didn't know that I was hearing Rewrite The Stars a lot of times, though. The original version is better than the cover that always plays, though.

 

As for Like Me, in all likelihood, I wouldn't be surprised if it was 50% Love On Top contestants, besides Margarida Aranha and Mr. Cannes Film Festival. But I think they might edge out some other names, like Érica or Bernardina from Secret Story. And it will probably be an epic flop anyway.

none of the covers are particularly better than the originals but it especially bothers me when I hear the Rewrite the Stars cover on the radio because it's so much worse than the original, Zac Efron is miles ahead of whoever sings the cover.

At least Joker is still far away from ADdA  It still pulled 10% rating. Probably the last time it ever does that lmao. Haven't been able to see Prisioneira ratings yet.

Yup, what did I say? Don't give it until Wednesday (today) for ADdA to drop below 10%, and it's gonna Prisioneira itself to fucking death until it ends in September/October. And Prisioneira was probably the death of 11PM. It won by a good distance on Monday, but it was massively inflated by being sandwiched between a premiere and an ending. Just last week, it lost to Alma e Coração, which aired an hour later, like 4 of 5 times. It won't be stronger than A Teia, and with a lead-in just as bad as the one itself gave A Teia when it was at 9PM, it's gonna be doing Vidas Opostas ratings by July or August.
