first step into getting a live action frozen?

The Snow Queen fairy tale was one of the inspirations for Frozen (very loosely based though iirc).

Decades ago there were plans for a Disney theme park attraction called The Enchanted Snow Palace based on the Snow Queen fairy tale that never came to be. Worth a read if you're interested in Disney Park history about projects that failed to launch (another one is from nearly 20 years ago when Submarine Voyage at Disneyland was closed with plans to turn it into an Atlantis attraction which were obviously abandoned after the movie opened and flopped, later reopening with a Finding Nemo theme instead).

Speaking of more Disney Parks news (as parts of Disney Springs open tomorrow):

Looks like the Mary Poppins thing at Epcot might have been unofficially called off. Also they're still looking to open the Ratatouille ride this year but we all know it's gonna wait until 2021.

They'll probably end up going back to that late March spot (last time they took place that late was...2003) in hopes that events with hundreds of people in one room can take place again. Maybe May or June to play it really safe.

Good for her. Between these DC shows and Riverdale, Greg Berlanti is like the king of cringe-inducing TV.

Berlanti can really get away with anything he wants with the empire he's built since becoming arguably the second most powerful gay showrunner in the industry after Ryan Murphy (and as a bonus made one of the more celebrated studio movies in the last few years). At least no one will ever confuse their productions as Berlanti's projects lack the obvious aura of pretentiousness that usually accompanies Murphy's lol.
