Not a lot of competition though. Easily a better choice than someone like Jim Parsons.

Yeah, agree. No clue why he got snubbed. I was talking about from the set of nominees.

i would take jovan adepo and i didn't see the kimmy schmidt movie but titus was always great so i imagine he was better too.

Yeah Parsons had by far the showiest role in that category but his program was too much of a flop to reward anything.

 

Oh wow, good for Uzo. I figured the Mrs. America ladies would cancel each other out and that Jean Smart would win.

Anthony Anderson is the only guy bringing energy to the show.

Unbelievable should've gotten more acting noms. Meritt Wever easily should've gotten in instead of Holland Taylor and Kaitlyn Dever instead of Kerry Washington (who I heard was terrible in Little Fires Everywhere).

Kerry was actually great in LFE, though Reese has the meatier role and should've been nominated also. I feel like Unbelievable's momentum was hurt by the fact it was a show about difficult subject matter that premiered almost a year before the deadline.

Watchmen getting the recognition The Leftovers should've gotten. I'd like to see Carrie Coon get nominated for an Oscar next year for The Nest too (but I doubt that's happening).
