Haha I guess I turned my wife into a First Class snob like me.

There was a snafu and our Seattle-LAX seats weren't showing up as first class and she blew up at the ticketing agent. "You except us to sit with them

I was shocked hearing it coming from a staunch socialist and I guess my reaction was priceless with the agent chuckling.

That's their most popular movie, no surprise (they're also showing The Greatest Showman, All the Money in the World, The Shape of Water, and Molly's Game - basically they get anything with automatic senior appeal - including Just Getting Started lmao).

I don't know what's wrong with the seniors of Florida but my showing of Darkest Hour was like 85% filled with nothing but seniors and all of them were respectful during the show

They're always nice and quiet whenever I see a movie with senior-heavy crowds too). It's only Han that has that problem.

yeah molly's game today was crawling with olds. though must say greatest showman yesterday was mostly teen/family audience.

I saw Molly's Game with a sold out audience (in a large auditorium as well) and at least 2/3rds the audience was over 50. Jessica Chastain, Senior Citizen Box Office Draw.

I live in an area where seniors think they rule and have no consequences. Hell, some restaurants even pander to them just for better tips.

It's fucked up, man.

Showman's been having an interesting trajectory here. On opening Friday when I went, my audience was 50/50 between teens and seniors, yet last week a LOT of families have been going into it when I'm there.

heard a lot of moaning about the length when it finished. cruel of sorkin to keep the OAPs there for 2.5 hours with no bathroom breaks. feel like another director could've made it tighter.
