TYFYS: 280k

OTB did 350k and Snowman did 270k. Yikes.

Billy Lynn made less than $2M in total last year (an astonishingly low total for a wide studio release regardless of reviews). I think there's just not much of an audience for a depressing PTSD movie.

So if it behaves like OTB - $4.8m   But how much of that was the Thur night only free tickets to vets?

If it behaves like Snowman

I don't think it has to worry about behaving like The Snowman

Suburbicon though? :hahaha:

From Deadline:

Quote

Suburbicon is a dark comedy directed by George Clooney and scripted by Joel Coen & Ethan Coen, Clooney and his creative partner Grant Heslov. The pic did not resonate with critics coming out of Venice and the Toronto International Film Festival with a 29% Rotten Score. As such, Paramount couldn’t afford to platform this movie after shelling out a reported estimated $10M plus P&A.

So in total it cost Paramount 35M. Maybe they can break even OS?
