CAYOM 3.0 Year 2 Discussion Thread

Recommended Posts

I just finished re-watching Infection since I hadn't seen it in seven years or so. Gonna try to type up the adaptation now. It's definitely one of those J-Horror flicks where the plot is built more on metaphor than logic. I think I mostly understood it this time out - the main concept at least - and I'm obviously going to be spelling it out more in the adaptation because that's what 'Murrican remakes do. There's one relatively small aspect though that still seems to make no goddamn sense at all. Since it doesn't actually affect the plot I'm just gonna leave it out.

Also I'm changing the title to Skeleton Crew. Sounds more horror-y and less sci-fi.

@Hiccup23 I'm impressed. A wide-release remake of Salò might actually be the boldest (i.e., worst) idea in cinema history.

Is it? This is coming from the person who made a BDSM gay sex film that was released in over 3,000 theaters.

Found a tech article that terrified me so much I'm considering writing it for Year 2.

Is it that office in San Francisco where the only way to open the electric locks on the bathroom doors is by scanning a QR code from an app that's "free for a limited time?"
