Don't watch the original after the remake though. I never realized how really goofy it was until now.

the original has always been goofy and the sequel (PS2) is goofier. they play those every halloween.

We talked just about comparisons for Pet Sematary and Evil Dead 13 was always a very good one for it. Remake of an older horror film/franchise, small built-in-fanbase, nearly exact same release date and mixed-positive reviews.

The old one has a terrible lead and is less competently made on the whole, but I think it has more about it.

It's going to make a good profit, but people who were expecting another "IT" were badly mistaken.

"IT" seems to be  a one off as far horror remakes go.

Pretty cool that Us, an original, grossed nearly three times on OW what a big King IP remake did.

Neither version has a charismatic lead. This movie's lead whose name escapes me Jason something is the opposite of charismatic.

really a shame to hear. Even if you didn't like the movie (I didn't) a shoutout should be given to the cat-actor in it. 

 

Not every human can act. Must be incredibly talented for an animal to be able to give a (pretty good admittedly) performance in a movie.
