It will be hard to get worse legs than SM3... a 150M opening pretty much guarantees 400M.

If a movie makes most of its budget and PA back from theatrical business alone... means it will prove to be very profitable in the long run.

But is it enough to justify another risky sequel?Wouldn't they prefer projects that could make 75+ m in profit at the box office?Especially when there are other tent pole releases making 200+ m at the box office.

It is hit and miss in nearly all of its OS markets.300m+ would be a good total, something around 500m WW would be a success.

The distribution of one big-budget movie is very complicated.Studios love the commercial movies whose background are in modern time.
