There was not much excitement for a 3rd Wolverine film, before the trailers too. The Xmen franchise stuff is a lot less predictable than the other CBM stuff. I will wait for a trailer, then make predictions.

Apparently this is expected to gross $100+ million OW in China, which will probably lead to a gross in the $150+ million zone even with below average legs.  OS-China will probably be around $200 million (Apocalypse was $268 million). Total OS should be at least $350 million.

I predicted 30% drop in Russia with $4.5 mln OW. Let's see if it can do better than this.

If both China and South Korea not on board for this movie, then chances are rest of Asia will follow suit.

 

Europe already didn’t turn out much for Apocalypse, so DP dropping even further from Apocalypse in a major market like France ain’t a good sign.

 

However, I think numbers from Latin America will be fairly good. X-movies have a stable and sizable fan base there. It’ll depend big time on Brazil though.
