Apo made 267M in OS-China. If it drops 50% similarly to domestic, we'll have 133M. China probably look at 70M.

DP has grossed about $1.24m in India in 3 days till Friday. It released on Wednesday to take advantage of Eid holiday. 

 

5 day OW probably heading to 2m OW which would be a drop off of around 40% from Apocalypse (3 day OW). Total gross at end of the run also seems like it will be down 40-50% from Apocalypse

Dark Phoenix’s full international box office cume through Thursday, and not including China’s Friday,

was roughly $28M. 

 

The full launch session on the poorly reviewed Dark Phoenix will come in at the low end of pre-weekend projections, possibly around $115M for all offshore markets save Japan and Indonesia where it is still to bow in the coming weeks. That’s down on both Days Of Future Past ($148M in like-for-like markets at today’s rates) and Apocalypse ($134M).

That 115m OS estimate is already lower than Deadline’s low end OS estimate of 120m before opening. If that estimate is right then Dark Phoenix is looking at a WW opening in the 150-155m region which would be below recent ones like Detective Pikachu, Godzilla 2 and in the same region as Shazam. 

 

Combine with the fact that legs in China will be fairly short due to 4 day holiday opening and bad ratings and the same will be the case domestically (ratings wise), this is looking to be below Shazam and likely below 350m worldwide as well based on early numbers
