Granted, going to Egypt to shoot might have added a few million to the bust but 30 Million??

I think they just hugely lessenes the chances of this turning  a profit with that budget increase.

I think the impressions look gorgeous but indeed they cover a lot. But they have to. The script is demanding that. The lucky people who don't know the plot yet (do yourself a favor and see this film uninformed) will understand after seeing this film what is meant.
