The Amazing Spider-Man OS Thread (413M)

Recommended Posts

The webslinger – now played by British rising star Andrew Garfield opposite Emma Stone as love interest Gwen Stacy – largely avoided Europe while the Euro 2012 continues to play out. He fared best in South Korea and grossed $13.4m from 1,213 screens for 71% market share and the third biggest launch for a Hollywood film in the Thursday-Sunday time frame on KRW15.8bn. The result came in 24% higher than the Spider-Man 3 debut over the same period.

It's really great in SK :D

Next OS releases, 3 July :-Uruguay, Colombia, Sweden, Jamaica, Ireland, and Denmark.Small markets but it is the beginning of first latin american markets, and Colombia is pretty promising on the long run, more than Spain. In Ireland we can expect good numbers, and decent numbers in Danemark/Sweden (like Netherlands).

More on what may impact TASM's opening day in most of Australia.http://www.dailytele...9-1226413891448You can also watch it at some theatres.http://www.eventcine...e/Origin-Game-3http://www.hoyts.com...012_Game_3.aspx

I don't expect good opening numbers in Australia given all the hurdles, let's expect good legs.

The Amazing Spiderman Has 27.50 Crore Nett Weekend

The Amazing Spiderman recorded a huge 27.50 crore nett weekend beating all the records of Hollywood films released in India. The records were smashed by such margins that the weekend business of the film was higher than what any other Hollywood film has collected in the first week.

The Amazing Spiderman is probably the only real big success in regional languages since 2012 released in 2009. The other Hollywood releases that have done well since have mainly done well in English. The film has chances to be the highest grossing Hollywood film ever in India. It is almost certain to be amongst the top two.

The Amazing Spiderman grossed 8.50 crore nett on Friday, 9 crore nett on Saturday and 10 crore nett on Sunday.

I hope ASM will make more than $1B, but it would be really tough. With $50.2 million from only 13 markets, TASM has a good chance to make more than $500 million internationally. There are more than 50 markets left for TASM...

IMO it looks more like 600-700 mill
