That would be smaller leg than even the extreme frontloaded Twilight that had legs of around 150m...., would it make it hard to reach 255m for Justice League ?

Considering it had lower previews numbers than everything except FB (which opened to $20m less and will make more this w/e)  - the 55% drop looms even larger in comparison. 

 

FB made $78m after a $45m Thanksgiving w/e. 

 

JL with $42m w/e = $172.8m after Thanksgiving

 

If JL comes in at $42m -  if it has the same legs from now as FB (which it's shown no sign of so far)  that would mean  93.33 % x $78m = $72.8m more for a $245.6m total.

Reading Scott Mendelsons articles is so much fun. Nearly every article he tries to put a positive spin on JL. Heck he cannot even stop himself spinning JL in an article on Thor

I wouldn't call Pixar brand an underdog by any stretch of the word. It's one of the biggest franchises out there.

$17m for Justice League would be a 101% Friday increase.

 

Under Mockinjay 1 (118%) & 2 (108%) but 9% better than Fantastic Beasts (92%).

 

$42m looks likely for the 3 day. 2nd weekend drop 55%. ~ $173m by Sunday.
